9 Young Carers and 3 Staff were present MINUTES Chloe introduced and explained 'Hear by Right' and the active involvement of young people within a service. We spoke about the 'Hear by Right' Awards and about working towards stated criteria in order to obtain them. We then went on to discuss seven points of criteria about the Young Carers Service and the young carers were asked to score how well these criteria are met on the following scale: 1. Exactly how we want it 2. There's more to be done 3. They've only just started 4. They've not even thought about it. We then discussed what the Young Carers Service are doing now and what more could be done to improve each score. Each young person recorded their scores and feelings on a separate sheet. We discussed their feelings as a group and recorded it.
