The role of young carer can often become
more complicated for you if you are over 16.
Issues usually arise around you working towards being more independent. The demands of
college and work, alongside a desire for more socialising and free time, make it especially difficult for you to balance the caring you do
with your life outside the home.
We organise a wide variety of support including:
* OnetoOne support
* Group activities such as CV building,
* Discussions about employment and training, building self-esteem, first aid and lots more
We'll also encourage you to become actively involved in Young Carers Service by attending our regular Forum meetings where you can talk about what you would like us to do for you and how we can help meet your needs as a young adult carer.
